MARK Robins expressed his relief today that everyone at Rotherham United can focus on the football now that the club's future has finally been secured following this week's Football League decision.
Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Mark Oxley could be set for a dream move to the Premier League with top-flight newcomers Hull City set to take the 17-year-old.

Millers boss Robins said it was a relief to have the cloud lifted and to be able to concentrate fully on the first game and the season ahead.

Robins said: "This is what managers, staff and players are here for – to play football and everybody really is looking forward to getting things under way tomorrow to start on this journey. We have had the administration and points deduction threat hanging over us for so long but we are now focused on what we are about and we would all love to get off to a great start and to starting making inroads into that points deficit straightaway."

The Millers take on Lincoln City as they make a spot of club history with their first competitive fixture at Don Valley Stadium with indications being that the gate will be higher than might have been expected at Millmoor.

Rotherham's season ticket sales are higher than last season and with Lincoln expected to bring a good following the Millers should have a good opening day crowd.

Robins had new midfielder Michael Cummins back in action in a friendly at Emley this week, a match which they lost 2-1.

Cummins is in contention for a midfield spot but new striker Mark Burchill has been hindered by a groin strain. Pablo Mills will skipper the side with Ian Sharps as club captain.

Young keeper Oxley, yet to play in the first team, attracted attention last season and played for England U-17s. Aston Villa had a look but Hull have stiffened their interest and a move could land Rotherham an initial six-figure sum for the youngster from Aston.
